CORMORANT UPSTREAM

A solitary cormorant fishing in fresh water on the Western Cleddau. Many times I have seen them over 40 miles from the sea (rivers Wye and Tweed). Their fishing prowess on non-tidal waters has provoked human fishing interests worldwide  to cull these birds extensively.
