FAIRNILEE BRIDGE




The River Tweed is crossed by many ancient and elegant bridges. This is another 17th century-built beauty spanning the swift snow-melt flow at Fairnilee. Little did those steady stonemasons of yesteryear think that their sturdy construction would still be standing strong over 300 years later.
