NEIDPATH CASTLE

The 14th Century tower of Neidpath Castle sits in an imposing position above the swirling waters of the upper Tweed. Mary Queen of Scots, Wordsworth and Sir Walter Scott have all stayed in this dramatic pile of sandstone and rubble (not at the same time). Featuring in a number of films and TV shows this haunted castle is now a private home for private people.
